I know nade spam has always been an issue in halo games (especially H2). But it seems rreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bad in H5. Nades everywhere. What’s the deal
The only issue I’ve noticed is that the spawns are too easily containable and tossing a frag at a trapped enemy will usually damage his spawning teammate. Actual gameplay 'nade spamming is no different than Reach on, not as bad as CE through H3… When spawning, feels like Halo2 because of the predictability of spawns.
One issue I see is that camp spots will respawn nades way too fast. In Truth in the base snipe holes, you can lob out 2 sticky nades, to get 2 more back in 20 seconds, way too quick respawn, especially when camping on top of them. I’m quickly getting addicted to spamming them, and when I don’t have any, I’m usually dead shortly afterwards.
grenades are not a power weapon, they are part of the golden triangle, and thus should be use in roughly equal parts with melees, and shooting.
I can literally go make a sandwich in the time it takes for nades to go off… The delay is forever, so there’s more in one spot. Also nads on the ground are weapon detonated.
nades need to be nerfed a little bit!
Honestly the only thing that should be nerfed on the grenades is their push force. Damage-wise they’re pretty much perfect imo.
