I like Mythic WFF it is a good challenge which relies heavily on teamwork, that being said I find it somewhat inconvenient when a couple lower level player sare on my team (say levels 1-30ish) Lower level/skill players can’t contribute as much as higher level/skill players because they don’t have as good REQs as a level 100 (I’m 136 with everything unlocked) I usually REQ one or two weapons a round and scorpion, wraith, or mantis’ for waves 4/5. I just think there should be a certain level a player has to be to play Mythic WFF (around 40ish i think). I just don’t like backpacking people who only have a br and magnum to use on higher waves. Also finally EVERYONE OVERALL: stop being stingy with your REQs
That’s the battle unfortunately not just in mythic but in all FF modes of you find a few good people just team up then there’s no problems ! If one of my vehicles survives a round I get out and make sure someone else hops in and req another as the rounds go to boost everyone up
Probably even 40 is too low.
Honestly, I’d be for this. Not queuing with a whole team brings a lot of risks for Mythic, true, but I don’t understand the SR-1s and 2s who look at the playlist options and are like “This seems like a fantastic idea.”

“I just got Halo 5 and want to play multiplayer! Ooooooooh Mythic Warzone Firefight. That sounds amazing! Let’s go!”
Why.

Some people like pain.
That’s the bane of my FF experiences in Heroic. You’d think it would be easy wins, but nooo, teammates don’t call in vehicles and then we lose with the boss at low health.
One example: I lost 3 round 5 double Wardens on Attack on Sanctum because most of my teammates didn’t call in vehicles until it was too late and the couple that did call in vehicles early on were terrible with them. Fast forward to last night where I got the same round and almost all of my teammates called in vehicles with multiple tanks and we beat the round in no time at all and it was a breeze. It’s frustrating because it can be so easy when people know what they’re doing.

Nice to know I’m not the only one who does this

They probably just don’t know any better. I’ve met people who reflexively go for the highest difficulty of anything right away, because they think they can take an extra challenge or something. The kind of people who start out playing campaign on Legendary when it’s their first Halo or even shooting game. These people wouldn’t realize they’re just dragging their team down in Mythic WZFF

I’d be happy with this. Nothing worse than losing games because 80% of your team only just downloaded the game from Xbox Game Pass.

We’ve seen people in Mythic that haven’t even touched the campaign yet.

I suppose you can’t really blame them for jumping straight into the deep end.
I played Mythic Warzone FF with a Sr 14 and a Sr 6 and surprisingly both of them were holding their own out in the fight

Yeah anybody can “hold their own” in Mythic WZFF. In order to do that, you just have to avoid dying. But that’s a different issue than calling in reqs and actually contributing to the objective.
Because that what Halo is all about, limiting the player experience based on rank or general prowess in game.
Instead lets suggest something that lowers the bar so its not as difficult for new players and has a better turn out for everyone in the end.
oh of course what was I thinking, nobody wants that. We just want more exclusive stuff and the game to be harder.
By the way: players go into MWFF because it has the highest RP turnout regardless of you win or not, a while ago I posted my weekend report on how much unaltered RP you get without boosts, here’s the short version-
lose a game of MWFF after the first round will reward you with more RP then most gametype when you WIN. Losing at round 3 or higher give you more RP then winning a full game of legendary WFF, which also takes longer.
I think part of the problem is that newer players don’t realize that Mythic is an absurdly hard version for firefight. There is nothing obvious that screams you should only enter if you know what you are doing.
I have had multiple games where i check the scoreboard at the end to only see level 20s and 30s who only did about 2k damage total. Plus with the extreme number of people who leave the game, it doesnt help the rest of the team. Currently the Mythic is on A.R.C. and if round 2 is defend the core, people leave just due to that. Im getting tired of seeing the blacked out names on the scoreboard just from people who think its too hard or not going fast enough for them.
I don’t even go into Mythic unless I have a couple of mates.
That’s true though.
Its mainly based on teamwork & communication. Not gonna have too much of that if your game is full of randoms…

Actually, I would say it’s more based on having a large, diverse req collection and knowing the best req to call in for each round. Teamwork and communication are also important, sure, but I don’t think they’ll do much if everyone is using loadouts.
I don’t want people to misunderstand me here; when I say lower ranked people would be doing everyone a favor by avoiding Mythic WZFF, I’m not trying to say they’re less skilled or anything. They could have all the skill in the world, but it’s just impossible to have a big req collection at a low rank…

I agree with you, Mythic should become unlocked when you have an X% of your weapons and vehicles unlocked to be able to participate.
