Mythic Weapons???

I have been playing the campaign and on the first 2 stages i have found weapons that have names. Cant remember what the name of the first stage weapon was but the second stages shotgun was called Blaze of Glory. Is there any purpose to grabbing these guns? Do we know if every stage has one and what are the buffs of these guns? Any light on this would be appreciated.

I have not played Campaign to help you out with that but I do know that some of those are special Warzone items that are very rare to get

There are some special variants of weapons hidden in the levels yes. They have some extra stats like more damage, ammo etc.
If you haven’t already noticed Linda and Kelly from blue team have camos on their weapon, those are also findable.

I just picked up blaze of glory… Anyone know how many more there are??

Only one I found was Linda’s Sniper Rifle.

It’d be nice to know what stats the mythic weapons have compared to their regular counterparts. I really, REALLY hope we’ll be able to use them in Forge once it’s released.

I’ve only found Linda’s sniper rifle, which seemed pretty much the same as a normal sniper rifle) and the Blaze of Glory, which was a UNSC shotgun that fired Scattershot ammo.

Played co op with a friend as Kelly and I found a fancy gun. A Forerunner human hybrid shotgun, grabbed it just before he triggered the hunters on the bridge. Having two shotguns at once is a lot more exciting than you’d think.

Name of weapon-Weapon Type-REQ card description-Mission Found on
Loathsome Thing-Scattershot-Stained in the ichor of uncountable foul parasites slain in a hundred thousand wretched hives. Improved Scattershot with increased damage, faster rate of fire, and extended magazine.-Osiris
Oathsworn-Shotgun-Memories of loss and dreams of vengeance, sealed in steel and composites. Mythic Shotgun with increased damage, accuracy, and rate of fire. The user’s movement speed is also increased while Oathsworn is equipped.-Kelly’s default weapon
Nornfang-Sniper Rifle-A master-crafted instrument of death and destruction. Mythic Sniper Rifle firing high explosive armor piercing (APHE) rounds that increases overall damage. In addition, Linda’s modifications ensure the Motion Tracker is visible even when using Zoom.-Linda’s default weapon/ Unconfirmed(mission)
Blaze of Glory-*Shotgun-*Advanced technology married to brutal simplicity. Advanced Shotgun with Forerunner mechanism to fire fast-moving hardlight projectiles with extra range and anti-vehicle effect. Reloads with a single shell.-Blue Team
The Answer-SAW-Inquiring sentients want to know. Advanced SAW with slightly lower rate of fire, but each projectile has a proximity-fused high explosive warhead.-Genesis

This is everything I found during my first play-through, but I’d bet every combat mission has one hidden somewhere.

I found the nornfang in a crashed pelican on one of the locke missions, it was a beast and I was going to hold it until i found more ammo, but then picked up a pistol when it was empty and was then sad finding a sniper around the corner.

the feels lol.

Wouldn’t have mattered. Ammo from normal weapons doesn’t seem to replenish mythic weapons.

What does then? Is there a way to replenish the ammo out of those weapons?

These are the one’s I found, as well as the Didacts signet on the 14th(I believe it was) mission, which was a special scattershot but I didn’t notice any special perks.

My question is what level is the Prophet’s Bane on? I have an obsession with that weapon. Its an energy sword that decreases health by about 25% and increases speed by almost double. The thing is BONKERS

I have picked up Loathsome Thing also Nornfang and it did not transfer over to Multiplayer. I kept them until till the mission ended. What am I missing?

That’s not how it works. You have to get the REQ cards to use them in multiplayer.

I get that you get them in Multiplayer with REQs but I have watched Videos were you find them in the Campaign. I took from that, you had to find them in the campaign to get them unlocked to get Certification to the REQ cards to be able to use them.

I haven’t got any mythic weapons, Ive found one weapon ive picked up on warzone before. some kind of explosive shotgun

No point bar in campaign fun. Collecting has no point.

no, they are single use like the energy swords, much to my chagrin. Oh what I would give for an infinite sword…
