Personally needler and sniper should never be used together.
This game has…10 different snipers…4 needlers… and the “needler carbine.”…enough with the both for h5.
This might actually be kind of interesting. Make it like a cross between the carbine and the beam rifle, but instead of firing one round it fires a 3-shot burst. Landing all three shots anywhere on the body leads to a supercombine kill. Landing two shots lowers shields, and one shot lowers half shields.

I could be interested, but as noted above we already have way too many snipers and not enough other stuff. Good idea though.

it’s fun to speculate about it i think, i mean if they are gonna come up with a bunch of mythic weapons, and continue that trend, why not?! This warzone idea has so much potential, i really really wish that 343 would push the envelope a little further with this, and come up with all kinds of variations of warzone, so much freakin potential!!

I’m sorry, no. First of all, the shots would be so few and far apart, super combine would have to be with only two shots, which would make the gun literally just a normal Sniper Rifle that will have an explosive splash damage for kills against enemies who had full health and weren’t headshotted the first shot.
Plus, the actual art asset would most likely not look that appealing either. If anything, bring back the focus rifle from Reach, buff it, slap a Mythic sticker on it.
I agree it’s fun to speculate, however needler + sniper = a bad blend.
Needler… spray all over the place, and needles home on to the target, 6 or 7 shots hit you… and ka-boom. great
sniper… gun that rewards accuracy. Great
combine the 2… not so great.
Another example… fruits = godlike
cake = godlike
combine the 2… and you get dog poop.
Next thing you know… people will start asking for flying tanks/ gausses.

actually i was just thinking it would be a single shot sniper that shot a needle, no homing in, basically just like a needle rifle from REACH but as a sniper, not rapid fire, just one long needle at a time, and if you got a headshot it would stick outta that persons head as the go ragdoll

I hope when infection comes out they come out with a unique, flood-ified energy sword which would basically turn you into a flood in warzone, with a speed boost and slight damage resistance boost, and that would be what the infected you in Halo 5’s infection mode.

see, this right here is a great idea! See the potential this game could have if the fan base had some more say in what was being done, i have seen more good ideas in a few posts on these forums than are actually in the game

Quite honestly, that is a terrible idea. The Needle Carbine is OP by itself, adding that to a sniper is downright ridiculous.
