It is actually 8 gold packs. And some people will think it is with how rare it is to get the mythic REQs. People like me will think that it would be better to just grab the gold packs.
I learned my lesson to not care when these special packs come out. I wasted time grinding for the pack that had skins and I only got 2 rare ones.
You guys are wrong. He can buy 20 gold packs for 80,000. Once you have everything unlocked gold packs only cost 4,000 each.

With everything unlocked you get 6K RP back with each pack.

When you have every certification for every item in the game when you pull a gold pack you get 6,000req points back.
And @USS Galactica its 20, 4 which being what you actually pay for the gold pack x 20 packs you can pull = 80,000 Req Points
If you don’t have access to the higher tier req weapons, it is cool, but otherwise just buy gold packs.
Its not worth it for me
I’d rather roll the dice with 20. Want more Hannibals but wouldn’t hurt to have more of everything else gold gives.

Yep akrezz you’re right, I have a much higher chance of getting a more mythic/legendary stuff from 80K with gold packs. In fact, I’m sure I would actually get 13-15 legendary/mythic items with 20 packs than wasting 80K on this lol.

In what realm is a req pack that has a highly increased chance to give me more Nornfangs a bad thing? I really don’t care how much it costs, all I care about is a sniper with a retarded hitbox as well as being a 1 shot kill.

Yeah you’ll get rp/xp boost, a decent amount of Legendary/Mythic item and not to mention all the stuff you get on the side like banshees/blaze of glory/whiplashes.
Didn’t they also mention that you are guaranteed one certification for a legendary req that you don’t have?

I just got 3 Norfangs, 5 CE Pistols, 3 Whispered Truths, 2 Oathsworns, and a SPNKR Prime. And I got the cert for the CE Pistol.
It’s worth the REQ points, not the money.

See I don’t think thats too shabby. I thought its 10 legendary reqs though, it sounds like you got 13. But I think its worth it enough if you get the chance at one of those sick legendary weapons or vehicles that keep eluding you.
