And the punchline isn’t funny! So yeah. Just for the hell of it decided to try my hand at Mythic Firefight this morning. I usually avoid it because I have played it a few times in the past and usually lose 10/10 games. It’s pretty hard needless to say. Anyway, much to my own surprise, I actually won tonight, and better yet I came in 3rd place, with the second most kills in the match.
So I figured due to the difficulty of the game, that you’ll get a TON of experience. Well I got about 15500 experience. This is without a req pack by the way. Sure, that may sound like a lot of experience to yall who mainly play arena. But to those of us that play firefight and warzone a lot, that’s nothing tbh. You could get almost as much playing legendary and its half the difficulty.
So in conclusion, mythic is a huge waste of time. Unless you have a good team and can guarantee winning 10/10 matches, you’re better off playing heroic or legendary.
I agree, why win 4/10 Mythic games when you could win 10/10 Legendary much easier even with bad teammates. Mythic can be more fun and challenging but sometimes the game really does set you up for failure.

Exactly. And legendary gives you almost as much experience as mythic. So why even bother with mythic? Unless you’re just playing for the challenge, theres no other point.

You should learn not to spam responses. It’s against forum rules and it would be a shame if you got reported for it.
And in that third response you acknowledged my point. It’s just meant to be a challenge. Not everything is about farming xp.

??? But really I can honestly say, mythic is the most enjoyable, addictive, and highly motivating playlist 343 has brought into Halo5. If you get a group of highly motivated players communicating with each other you can crank out some massive xp pools (or RP if thats your thing).Probably the most fun I’ve had with Halo5, or any Halo for that matter. I’ve played it religiously every weekend without fail. If you think it’s too hard and got sand in your lollipop, go back to infection or customs . Honestly I really would like to see it as a permanent playlist. It’s a magnificent stroke of genius 343.I’ve gotten more wins that I can count and have had some great memories in mythic. My favorite playlist in any Halo by far, and I’m sure if I think so many others do too.
It is challenging. I didnt say it was too hard. And I’m not an idiot. I know how to play warzone my man. Why are you coming at me like that? I know which reqs to use at which levels. And while I do have some trouble at certain parts, as you should, the problem usually falls on my team as a whole. As good as ove played in mythic, one man a team does not make. If you have a group of friends to play with who are good and dedicated, then yes. It’s totally worthwhile. But I dont. I usually end up playing with randoms, and it’s very hard to win with randoms. I’m not debating the hardness or easiness of mythic. I’m saying for its difficulty level, you should be rewarded more XP. That’s all I was saying.
