Mythic Warzone Firefight (Temple)

So I’ve been playing this gamemode for quite some time now, and I have not won a single match.

Now it doesn’t really bother me when we lose on the last round, what is really frustrating is losing on round 4. We had to fight two grunt mechs (we only managed to kill one)

Now the unique thing about MWZFF, you get skulls, the only skull I got a real problem with is black eye; melee enemies to recharge your shields. I find doing so, is a little hard to do when you’re in a vehicle.

Now I know the game mode isn’t completely impossible to win, through dedication, teamwork and the right req’s, I am sure this game mode is possible.

To end this off,
Have you ever been able to win a MWZFF match without partying up?

What are your thoughts about the game mode?

Would you want the game mode to be easier?

What REQs do you use?

For those who have won a match, is it worth it?

I’ve won matches at Prospect and Apex 7 while solo.

I would like more skulls and for them to be random.

Difficulty is fine. The Black Eye skull is what frustrates me.

I normally use Wraiths, Scorpions, Ghosts, and Mantises. For loadout, Wheelman, Upgraded Thrusters, Reflex Enhancers, Increased strength, and any weapon with a bayonet.

Victories are very worth it if you’re looking for XP.

I always play as a Lone Wolf.
I love this mode because it is very challenging.
Black Eye should be placed it later rounds, better if it’s not there at all.
I use lots of vehicles.
I have won at lease 1 match on Darkstar, Apex, Urban, Temple and Prospect. Teamwork is essential. It’s worth the rush I feel when WE win.

I like that idea, black eye at later rounds. Black eye isn’t that bad once you get used to meleeing every now and then, but I’m not opposed to getting rid of it

I’ve won MWZFF solo on all maps (I’ve also won a few times with a friend)

Thoughts - Not for the faint hearted: If you’re not spawning in tanks at round 5, you’re not helping the team. If you don’t spend reqs, you’re not helping the team. Spawn in reqs or don’t bother playing.

The Difficulty is fine. Arguably some rounds shouldn’t exist, but that’s just my opinion

Reqs - Last rounds - Tanks, Tanks and more tanks. Spawn them in as soon as possible.
For early round bosses, Spliter Turret and Caster are good shouts. Scourge is also pretty good for defending objectives such as the spire and armories. I’ve even had some sucess using the loathsome thing.

Really comes down to the team. At times, you’ll feel like you’re doing all of the work, and at other times, your team will beat 3 wardens using a lot of tanks. I would say it’s worth it, but there needs to be a minimum requirement of LWZFF wins enable for someone to play mythic, to filter out the faint hearted from the experienced players.

I was playing today and nobody was spawning in anything at round 4.

Tanks for the advice

Which is why there should be a requirement, as I stated earlier. A lot of people are jumping into MWZFF thinking that they can take out grunt goblins and wardens with loadout weapons, which just simply isn’t possible with the given time limit on round 4-5.

yea its all about luck really, you play your best ever game, help out your team mates and find sneaky was to get spartan charges to get your shields back. Sometimes i’m in a wasp doing damage to enemies i cant even see, i just follow the hit markers and shoot at the bottom of the red/yellow triangle when fighting bosses. I’m always solo queuing and from what i can tell i’m on a winning team about every 5th game and most teams making it to round 5. My tips

  1. Know when to pull vehicles and what kinds are the best, even when in a vehicle always play defence and make sure you have a retreat route that doesnt lead to a spawn
  2. Pull out/Pick up plasma pistols on rounds with ghosts, FIRST clear out minions then everyone gang up on one ghost at a time while 1 or 2 players “gooey” them non stop (stickies do lots of damage to non temple ghosts)
  3. Activate armor mods even if you’re favorite isnt available
  4. Pull an overshield if you’re sheilds are down but you want to make a move
  5. Know your enemies weakness: Ghosts: plasma pistols, Hunters: fully surround then take turns shooting it in the back(should look like spartan wack a mole if done right)
Knights: for non boss knight blast off a side piece then go for the face shot when it screams at you(one hit kill). For boss knighs knock both sides off and get a sneaky melee on the glowing orange/yellow bump on its back. Grunt Mechs dont really have weakness sorta speak but are EXTREME close range fighters so keep your distance and always have something to dart beehind when fighting, Wardens tend to get confused when surrounded by vehicles and can switch from target to target giving the team a chance to shoot him in the weakness on his back (wardens can be assassinated once weak enough)

I have many more tips but this is a good starter pack lol at one time i was top 3k in warzone Halotracker rankings. Expect to die 7-10 times a game, if more than that you need to slow down or use your REQs more efficiently. Good luck guys.

Those are some good tips, I knew most of them but I also just learned to melee knights in the back yesterday.

Grunt goblins do have a huge weakness but it is difficult to expose. Everyone needs to focus fire on his shield, then you can headshot him

I’ve only needed a party at sanctum. Got pretty lucky all the other times.

Yea man i didnt even mention it thats why i said “sorta speak” kinda my way of saying they do have a weakness, I’ve only ever gotten one goblin kill using that method so i didnt mention it, and i’ve found that once the sheild is super weak the binary sniper seems to do the best job.

I guess I’m just incredibly unlucky. Most of the teams I’m on don’t make it far
