I’m a bit confused as to what properties a mythic item possesses, Is a mythic legendary rarer then a regular legendary? If so how rare is a mythic ultra rare item like Oathsworn or the Emile’s Regards assassination. I’m also a bit confused as to what makes a item mythic. Is it just because it played a large role in Halo 5? Any clarification would be much appreciated.

Basically it’s just a fancy ribbon, doesn’t do anything other than give it pretend status and make you want it more.
In fact it’s pretty much the same as ubisoft using the word iconic, the thing has no value other than what’s given by the producer. Unlike recon in H3 which was actually a real challenge to get, or the -Yoink!- helmet in Reach. Now go buy some gold packs

They are simply important to halo’s story one way or another. Like emile’s regard being a fairly direct refrence to emile’s demise in reach or oathsworn being kelly’s shotty. Just not good enough to be considered legendary, but id argue that we have some ( a lot ) of crap legendaries. Its that way for all mythics pretty much. Like how 343 skins are mythic because they shape the story and mk 4-6 gen 1 is mythic because they are some of the OG armor. The fact that they havent been phased out from being obsolete is legendary enough for them.

That I’m not sure but the rest is on point.
Mythic cards (regardless if they’re ultra rare or legendary) are special because they have lore behind them. For example, 104 Ways to Die is Fredrick’s signature assassination and The Whispered Truth is Buck’s pistol.
Mythic simply means that an item has a lore story behind it, and some debate as to whether Mythic legendary items are rarer than just legendary.

They are not harder to get than any other ultra rare and legendarys.
Having finished silver packs a month ago, I have emiles regards and a mix of about 8 mithic hemets/armor.
They are just extra cool to get and are not more rare than others… there are just less of them.
Also, the req system now means that having a mithic doesn’t always come from hours of grinding (like I had to do) but can be obtained by luck by some

Yes thank you that helped a lot. I’ve had silver done for months now and I’m close to having all the ultra rares in the game, but I haven’t got a single mythic yet so I didn’t know if they were harder. Just bad luck I guess.

Either you have bad luck or I have good luck, because Ive been getting mythics fairly quickly and im already happy with my spartan’s appearance. Got h2 br, now I just need lawn dart and thats all I really want for the collection. Just gotta keep grinding.

You will get them all eventually… just keep grinding.
