what if 343 allowed for all req weapons in forge then we could make this grifball mode mythic grifball which allowed tartarus’ gavel and prophets bane that would be interesting grif would have 1 extra over-shield and that would be the mode oh and the arena would be a bit bigger then a regular game what do you guys think about it

I would loooooove to see it. Though god forbid we have Tartarus’ Gavel and Prophet’s Bane. I’d probably cry myself to sleep for the rest of my days.
Honestly, Grinders (Or Corpsemakers? I forget what Grinder does…) and Vorpal Talons would be much more fun.
Same for Shotty Snipers. It would’ve been great with Arrow of Times and Blaze of Glorys. The Nornfang/Oathsworn combo was not fun.

In the new forge teaser picture, you can see a Rally warthog. That means that 343 won’t be adding mythic griffball but it will be playable in custom games.
Honestly, I’m not sure about mythic griffball. The game would be SERIOUSLY unbalanced and bizarre. As a Griffballer, I think this game would promote killing in griffball and ball is not about kills, Its about scores. Rule #1 in the book on how to be a griffballer in less that 2 days. There is a 90% chance that I’m wrong. I was wrong about Warzone turbo and I was wrong about super fiesta. Somehow people manage to balance it. I would suggest a bigger court or some nub would just sit in the corner with the gavel yelling “Stay away” like there is a Ebola outbreak next to him. Oh and the ball carrier. LOL. I don’t even wanna talk about that. So I guess in the end it’s not griffball because the ball carrier gets killed by another nub who lunged halfway through the map with his Prophet’s Bane and Without the ball, It’s not griffball it’s just griff…
So I guess it will just end up as a CQC brawl with bodies piled up on the court and no one going for the ball. Well, I have said enough. Let the gameplay roll.

yeah thats true that made me laugh
It would require a 3xovershield considering someone could just camp the goal and spam the gavel. that hammer has impressive range for its shock waves.
Grifball with Tartarus’ Gavel and Prophets Bane would be absolutely sick. I feel like it would be a complete mess, but who cares?
