Mythic firefight unfair

This is not about enemy difficulty, While playing Mythic firefight on Temple, my team and I noticed that a lot of the time on the “Kill Elites” or “Kill Knights” round their spawning was severely far and few between. Often they would spawn 2 on one side of the map, then a good while later they would spawn two more on the opposite side, leaving people rushing around looking for enemies that weren’t there, wasting a lot of time. Then, around the 45-30 second mark they would all suddenly spawn in after a few second delay either failing us because there just simply weren’t enough enemies to kill most of the round or us scraping by with 2 seconds left because they luckily spawned near us and we manages to kill 11 in 30 seconds.

Again, its not 100% of the time, but a good 60%. Has this been happening to anyone else, or have we just been very unlucky?

Their spawn patterns are the same every time, so once you get used to when and where they spawn, it doesn’t become so much of an issue. Just remember that Elites and Soldiers tend to spawn on the sides and behind the temple at the beginning/middle of the round, out in front of the temple at the middle of the round, then on the sides and in the back at the end of the round.

Knights will mostly spawn out in front of the temple and on the sides, but the last ones usually needed to win the round spawn down near the armory. That’s where people get screwed over most of the time if they don’t have a lot of time left to spare to get to and kill them. I played a Kill the Knights round yesterday and won it with 2 seconds to spare. Truly got lucky with that one.
