Mystery of Anubis armor

The more I look at it, the weirder it is. At first glance its a really cool looking armor that was wrongfully ranked “uncommon” in halo 5. It has sort of an alien-ish look to it. Nothing too special aside from cool looks. But somebody in a different forum back from 2016 which is now locked after it died out and got revived pointed out a while ago that the legs have “backwards knees,” looking like the shape of an elites legs. So I decided to look at the details of Anubis. Apparently, the helmet uses sanghelios technology. It hit me that there’s no way that helmet could fit an elite, it was just made in collaboration anyways. But then why the legs? We know its not an elite under there or the helmet would be different right? Also if you look at the hands, they are clearly human, not elite. Alot of people might also know Anubis is the name of the Egyptian g-d of death, as well as a few other things. And he just so happens to be depicted with the head of a jackal, and the body of a human. Not only is the whole half body thing interesting, but it could also be redirecting us to the alien jackals of Halo, who have similar legs to the elites. In Egyptian belief, Anubis is also said to have invented embalming, and first practiced it on another Egyptian g-d by the name of- get this- Osiris. I can’t be the only one who thinks there’s no way this is all coincidence? I know I might be digging a little too deep, but I find it really interesting that the only armor in all of Halo to have humanoid features and alien legs is called Anubis. Any thoughts?

Never heard of this. Quite an interesting concept actually. Maybe we’ll see something similar in Infinite.
