The other day I was able to finally reach someone on Best Buy that knew about the codes. So they do exist, but it seems like Walmart is really leaving people in the dark. Don’t give up trying to get the code promised to you. Someone at Walmart has to know about this issue considering the amount of people with the same problem.

Any retailer that tells you to call Microsoft is completely wrong and it’s the third-party retailers that must provide the bonus code to you.

Never knew this was an issue. I didn’t preorder infinite but I’m sure the more the community gets together to figure this one out, the sooner the issue will get resolved.
I wonder if 343 will speak to this or have knowledge about the topic.
I pre ordered halo reach and had a “physical” digital code to redeem stuff, no email. I was assuming infinite would be the same.
Did somebody working at the store steal the codes? Did they just not know to send codes out? I have many questions about this.
I hope you ya’ll get what you paid for eventually

Should have got it on Campaign launch day via E-Mail.
I finally got my code over a week ago from Best Buy via email after various customer service calls.
I believe this falls completely on the distributors and 343 probably has little control over the preorder codes. It’s likely that 343/Microsoft provided the codes prior to launch and now it’s up the the 3rd parties to give them out properly.
Either way, I think it would benefit 343 to acknowledge all the uncertainty when it comes to the 3rd party coatings, especially after following how many people have also been unable to receive the HCS Twitch Drops even after doing everything required. It’s pretty concerning that all these codes are just vanishing without a trace.
I guess Coatings are really going to stay. I don’t see them allowing us to have a color wheel or choices any time soon.

Yeah. They’re too far in with the coatings. If they added a color wheel it would take away the value of having coatings. I just don’t see it happening. But… never say never!

After over 3 weeks, Amazon finally sent me the code for my pre-order bonus.

Meanwhile the WCT Vehicle Coating still doesn’t exist in the game, and they changed our WCT Armor Coating into a Perfect Detail AR Coating, because we clearly needed a 20th AR Coating. Waypoint Support keeps emailing me updates that they still have no info or fixes on the WCT Promotional Coatings. I think people are still missing the Cherry Warthog emblem too.
Commenting on this that people are still having problems with this.
