I’m disappointed, 343i - as a huge Halo fan, I didn’t expect these issues to be a REALLY big nuisance after buying the game yesterday (by the time I’m writing this rant topic): achievements not unlocking, matchmaking still functioning like -Yoink- and, worst of all, only compensating those who have played this game on the launch day. It’s safe to say, that despite your promises of fixing this game “around the clock”, I doubt any compensation or sugar coating will redeem you from this atrocity - oh, and don’t be surprised, if there are people breaking the forum rules: it’s all because of your failure with Halo: MCC.
First of all, the compensations: who in their rightful minds came up with the idea of remastering a Halo title, where you play as the ODST’s? The Master Chief Collection was supposed to be all about John-117 himself, not some blokes in suits!
Don’t forget, that even if you give out nameplates, a remastered H3: ODST AND a new H2A map, there are people who have bought the game after Dec 19th and are still suffering from these issues - I find it really criminalizing to only compensate those, who had the chance to buy MCC early only to come across aforementioned issues…
Again, as a huge Halo fan since 2003, I’m pretty disappointed in you 343i - I never would’ve expected to find myself ranting to you about this, but it’s you who brought me to this state.
TL;DR: Same issues with matchmaking, achievements not unlocking, Player ID non-accesible and compensations just outright dull and not worthy - fix these. NOW!
And now, I’ll continue banging my head on a wall until this is completely over and done with…
