GOOD GAME
I like it. I’m not sure about the NPC team in the campaign, I’m keen to try it co-op though. Sprint and Spartan Charge are a bit annoying but not too bad once you know how to counter. The maps are just beautiful, and I don’t like the announcer for the weapons but it does make it easier on n00bs. Unfortunately it does mean a lot of matches are just a scramble around one area (the power weapon) and wastes the beautiful maps. Variants with like, everyone has rockets, or magnums, shottie snipers, swords, whatever would mix it up and keep it fresh. Map voting would be cool too (maybe 50% of the time to keep it from being ALWAYS one weapon, 50% of time normal Slayer, then a choice of normal Slayer and two weapon variants) but I’m enjoying it and it’s solid. Now I understand what Warzone is I’m gonna get a collection and blow the -Yoink- out of stuff with vehicles.
Solid game, think 343 are safe hands for Halo 6, main thing for them is to make sure they remember all modes though not just REQ modes because if the rest of the game is good people might buy REQs and have fun messing around, but don’t neglect the rest of the game in order to concentrate on the REQ/microtransactions side. But if Halo 6 is a spanking game with all round good modes, then I’d be happy to spend more money on the game. But if the rest of the game sux because of concentrating on REQ mode then I wouldn’t.
I’d like to be the Covenant again too, how about a Brute character? For multiplayer it would be cool if we could be all different types of alien, short and fast grunts but low health, strong brutes but big target, in a mode called Galactic War or something where the teams are the alien races, and maybe restricted choice of aliens in normal MP. Just an idea. Back to Halo 5 though, solid game, I was ready to be disappointed but I’m not, and the Destiny/CoD style stuff is actually pretty balanced now I’ve got over my tantrums at being Spartan Punched all the time. It’s well implemented and can be countered. The maps are beautiful, the game play is fun, new maps and variants in my favourite mode (FFA) is all I want and also for the team to stay where they’re stationed when we use the up dpad in campaign. Edit: I have to say the armour is so fricken cool, the banners and sigils, I like how everyone has their own style like warriors and knights and they’re all -Yoinking!- cool. I’m trying out other modes than FFA and just played Infection and the movements and everything were brilliant. And Covenant Slayer. A lot of team playlists though please don’t forget about the FFA. Teams are OK, but you have to rush like mad before they steal all your kills. Is the US Army making all FPSes like small group tactics games? I know Halo has long team tradition but there is only one non team playlist. Anyway mechanics are lovely and I am really enjoying the game now I’ve settled into it.
Edit2: I know some people want the Halo campaigns to go darker and more gritty, but there are tons of scary or depressing dark games, halo always had a sense of humour and a cartooniness. I hope it doesn’t lose that (because I find dark games like Gears of War or Serious Soldier games like Rainbow 6 depressing, and DOOM is way too scary.)

Yeah it’s pretty good. Have you used Forge yet? Once you get the hang of it…you’ll never put it down.

Some kid invited me to the forge and it was cool asf, it’s like he had his own world just to duel me, and you could fly around it was -Yoinking!- awesome
