My unscientific study of Halo 4's awesomeness

Based off watching the Launch Trailers for the majority of the major Halo releases, I have determined how much awesome Halo 4 has.

here is Halo 4’s (most of the below are pretty much launch trailers)

here is Halo Reach’s

Halo 3’s

Halo 2’s

Halo Combat Evolved

I have to say that Halo 2 trailer had me the most pumped (we really really really need that Halo 2 anniversary edition with its original multiplayer mode released next year), with Reach being in second. Watching Halo 4’s made me feel angry inside.

So based on this purely subjective unscientific study Halo 4 has been deemed to have the least amount of awesomeness of all the Halo’s. Halo 2 has the most awesomeness, followed by Reach (if you like objective games like me, then Reach is an amazing game), then Halo 3 and Halo.

Should I get my work published?

Wait, so are we comparing the trailers or the actual games?

Funny how the Halo 3 trailer has the same kind of reflection in chiefs visor as the Halo: X-Box One teaser. He is also standing on the edge of a cliff that has fallen away too.

If we’re talking about trailers, nothing will top Halo 3’s Bubble Shield trailer.

Though Halo 2’s “Bet you can’t stick it” was pretty damn awesome, too.

Halo 4’s marketing campaign was a shambles IMHO… the “ancient enemy” phrase didn’t jive with the Greg Bear novels up to that point. There was a commercial where chief ambushes some Knights, but it lacked that classic Halo Chief vs insurmountable odds (but you’ll know he’s gonna dominate) feel. If there can be such a thing

The worst part is that the Scanned depiction of Prometheans was accurate regarding Halo 4’s gameplay. Chief gets to fight a few Knights at a time while the Spartan-IVs get to fight an army…

Campaign should have had those numbers.
