I have a problem, my TV is a Sanyo HDTV 480p, and when i play Halo 4, the FOV for my player in campaign and multiplayer is horrible.
For instance, both campaign and multiplayer I can only see the first number in the Battle Rifle’s counter, and the weapons don’t appear as they are supposed to,and the sprinting isn’t right.
In campaign, the only helmet part that shows is the tip-top of the middle, and when i put the Xbox in widescreen mode, the problem is only fixed a little bit. Should I get a new TV, or wait for Christmas for one?

He did say HDTV and 480p. It doesn’t make much sense…

It depends on how much you play. If you play at least an hour every day, then I would buy a new TV. If you play every once in a while then wait till Christmas.

But, but,… oh.
First of all, 480p isn’t HD.
Since you probably don’t have an HDTV, this sounds like an issue with your TV’s safe area. See if you can adjust it in your TV’s settings. If you can’t or that doesn’t help, you need a new TV to rectify the problem.

He is trolling!..Stop trolling!
First of all it says 480p in the HDTV settings, so how am I trolling? This is a legitimate problem.
Maybe contact the company?
It’s about time you update that tv, you could get a decent plasma HDTV for a good price.

Check your picture settings. There is usually a “zoom” button that adjusts the display between modes like “normal”, “zoom”, “widescreen”, “cinema”, etc. sounds like you’re on cinema. Mine does the same thing visual-wise when it’s set to that.

Since 480p is not HD, you either do not have an HDTV or your Xbox is putting out a non-HD signal. Try flipping the switch on your A/V cable to HDTV. Then make sure you are using the component cables for video output, not the composite cables. Finally, in your Xbox 360’s HDTV settings, make sure your display is set to 720p, 1080i, or 1080p, whichever your TV supports.

He’s not trolling!.. sorry.
480p is known as EDTV
i put the HDTV thingie on my Xbox to HDTV, and it won’t show the picture. But, if I turn it to regular TV, it works. And the only HDTV options are 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
whats the model number on your tv?
