> Please note the numbers doesn’t mean I care about a topic less than another one and vice versa. This is simply a top 11 things I’d like to see in the new Halo game if things from Halo 4 are going to the new game. Without further ado…
11- Better Handling of DLC maps
Outside of the DLC playlist(which currently holds only 1 of 3 packs at a time), they don’t pop up often. Unless I am playing with my friends, who don’t always play when I do, they are just holding up space on my hard drive. Can you guys do something about this to get players have more incentive to get the maps AFTER the DLC playlist swaps out? 
10-Redo the Loadout System
I was excited about Loadouts. For the first 2 weeks, it seemed pretty cool. Then everyone and their dog spawns with Plasma Pistols and Plasma Grenades and made everyone stay away vehicles(that don’t kill in 1 shot) like the plague. And there are also Boltshot players making close quarters maps feel too clustered up and easier to defend than normally would have with their charged shot.
Can you please remove the ability to select what grenades and secondary weapons we could have and just keep those guns and grenades on the ground? I’d like to get in a vehicle and feel that if I die in a vehicle half the time, it’s not because I felt like my controller was takened away from me. And so that there would be more incentive to move around without needing a HLS alot of times on the map.
9-Weapon Tuning Thingy in Halo 4 Available at Day 1 for Halo XB1
This is everyone’s best friend. We don’t need to wait half a year or so for an update now. Keep it!
8-Classic Slayer
Not to say Infinity Slayer is bad, but I am not going to say Infinity Slayer is perfect. It’s got issues, especially when first released. It’s not good enough to completely remove what got everyone hooked. It would make a great “back-up” for those who think Infinity Slayer(or any new playlist) is frustrating enough to leave it, and probably would wait until changes have been made.
If we think it can replace the old, the numbers will show. Until then, it’s not a good idea.
7-Local Search
Though this issue doesn’t affect me, I’m sure there are plenty out there that probably would like to not lag. Maybe this could be resolved with the dedicated servers deal, but it’ll probably help to keep the connections as local as possible to keep the others happy, and keep them mad at their inability to aim more than the game’s inability to keep the connection stable.
6-Plasma Pistol Buffed to kill without overheating
Enough with guns that don’t kill people. If it’s a gun, it needs to kill in at least the magazine you will allow us to have, especially if you are going to make a commendation out of killing with it.
5- Return 1<Object> Objectives
Alot of maps in Halo 4 would probably turn out alot better if 1 flag was sitting in the map instead of 2. Such as Complex. It would open the objective playlist up for more scenery.
While you’re at it, return some old gametypes that we like to play.
4- Return Precision Mode, and the ability to slow down in Forge Mode
I like to make maps. They don’t get into MM, but I’m sure there are some that would like those 2 features to come back. Magnet’s great, but not enough to warrent the removal of those 2 really neat features Reach’s Forge mode had.
3- Allow us to COLOR the Object
No, the line doesn’t help out much. By adding color, we give our players orientation without the need of exposing the map to windows(which have bumps) or a ceiling. Lights are very limited due to them being resource hogs. Just let us do it. Our lab rats would appreciate it.
2-Options to Opt OUT of JiP matches…
Or at least something to give the unfortunate chumps a reason to not feel ALL is lost for being put on a losing team. If you are not going to give us a way out of it without banning us for going AWOL on these situations, at least make it so that if we lose, nothing happens to us. If we win, maybe a few extra points for being a nice guy, pulling the team through what would probably be a horrible time.
1- Terminal videos IN the game.
Can really help out with the backstory of the characters if you put the backstory IN the game, and not on an Xbox Live Gold only app.
