So after having a look at the forums and seeing a lot of negativity i decided that it would be worth posting something 100% positive
These are my top ten things to be excited about in Halo 5: 1. It’s a brand new halo game.
This seems a little silly but it is the first main halo game (excluding the mcc which is all old games and remakes) since Halo 4 which came out 3 years ago. 2. Campaign designed for co-op and squad.
For me the squad mechanics just seem wicked with the ability to revive fallen allies as well as being able to command them is a really cool feature, and also having the campaign designed around having co-op play is just a neat feature to have. 3. Arena multiplayer.
After the let down of Halo 4’s multiplayer i was glad to hear that they had backtracked to a more competitive style. 4. Breakout.
From what i had played of this in the beta it seemed almost perfect and i really felt a need to win which i just really haven’t had in recent halo’s (I mean of course i wanted to win but in halo 5 i REALLY wanted to win). 5. Forge.
After playing on some of the forge maps in the beta, i feel like it really has potential to be great especial for breakout. 6. buck.
Ever since playing halo 3: ODST for the first time Buck has been one of my favourite characters in the entirety of halo, he was even my firefight voice in Reach. 7. warzone.
The gameplay for warzone looks amazing and i’m really happy with what they are doing with it and cant wait to see more maps. 8. blue team.
I feel like i’m not doing them justice by putting them so far down the list. i didn’t read any of the books they where in but i’m just happy that there are now more characters the chief is close to and i am interested in seeing how they interact with each other. 9. less linear campaign.
This is one thing that i have been waiting for for a while, larger maps with more movement options is just such a cool feature. 10. New weapons/vehicles.
When ever a new halo game comes out this is always something i get exited about, i love to see new additions to the game in terms of weapons and vehicles, the new forerunner vtol looks awesome.

I’m very much looking forward to the campaign of this game, I’m curious to see in which direction the story is going. So far, it’s looking like a treat, especially with Buck and Blue Team joining us!

In my personal experience, there is nothing quite like playing through a Halo campaign for the first time. It just feels really special, which is why I’m going to actually go dark as soon as Halo 5 goes Gold. I’m going to hold myself to it this time too. A day before the Launch of Halo 4, I came on the forums and saw “Cortana Dies!” In a thread title. Never again.
I think what has me most excited in the Campaign, aside from the story, is picking up a brand new weapon driving a brand new vehicle, or facing a brand new enemy. Those are the wow moments that stick with you. Also the promise of exploration…
With the promise of multi-path campaign structure, I am super excited. Many shooters have reverted back to the 90’s linear gameplay, that’s what immediately turned me off on the Doom Demo, and honestly had me scared about Halo 5’s E3 demo, but I’ve been reassured by Frank’s comments since then.
Indeed, great thread focusing on the Positives of the next Halo instead of on the negatives. Sure, there are some things that I don’t agree with cough lack of split screen… but it’s -YOINKING!- HALO! I’m excited most for the Campaign. Always have loved it since Halo Combat Evolved. I have intentionally kept two vacation days reserved just for this. My brother-in-law and I will be camping outside of Game Stop, with his suped-up Explorer with a generator, Xbox Ones linked to two TVs, playing the MCC, while everyone watches us in jealousy. It’s going to be EPIC!
HALO 5 im just so craving for i want it now to play campaign, Multiplayer and forge and to rank up get more armor and everything else im so hyped for this game who’d like to be friends and play halo 5 when it comes out
