My god, the amount of quitters in this game is RIDICULOUS, I’ve lost more games than I’ve won because of quitters. If you suck that bad… maybe you should put down the controller for good instead of rage quitting in EVERY SINGLE GAME AND RUINING THE EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE.
I’ve been steadily reporting players who quit early and sending each one of them a message to let them know they’ve been reported for quitting early. Ultimately this is going to ruin Halo 5 for me as it’s steadily becoming less & less enjoyable, not because of the game itself but because of it’s garbage community.
Agreed.
Too many of my non-Warzone matches end up with either me and one other guy or just me on a team.
Started a Breakout match. By the start of the first round, down to 3 players on my team including me. Start of the second round, down to me, myself, and I.
Look at it like this, most the time when someone quits it is because they are not playing that well so it is a good thing they quit because they just bring the team down. Also, what I have found out is that they are not always quitting they are getting disconnected. I had a team of three twice today and we won both games.
To be fair, there’s nothing that can be done. It sucks - I actually came back in Swat due to my team quitting out (ended the final game by less than a 10 point difference, and it was on Regret).
Just a note, though - avoid bringing up skill to make a constructive point. People on here, and in game, are constantly bashing other players, be it opponents or teammates. No one can be expected to get better when the community is so toxic.
The best bet, like others say, is to team up. I play single, and after many years, I expect quitters. It is not fun, but there is nothing that can be done to stop it. I’d take that over those that afk from the start of a match or kill their team, though - those make zero sense overall.

Today I’ve had problems with staying in games, I keep getting disconnected, I don’t think it’s my connection either because I’ve played other games and my connection on there seems to be perfect, but on Halo it’s… Idk. But either way, I get banned for “quitting” even though I don’t really quit, frustrating

I prefer competitive… but honestly, I would rather have a non-fireteam, ability to join mid game playlist variant.
The reason most people seem to quit for me is because the other team is squadded up and stomping on us, so they cry like little girls and press the quit button because for whatever reason that is more noble than an agonizing defeat.
Make a playlist where players can join mid-game if someone quits out and also make it so you can’t squad up in this playlist. Why is that so much to ask for?

So far I’ve only had one match where 4 people dropped out in WarZone. Although some might agree OP it’s your tone that is off putting. Years ago I decided to stick every match out. Even if this means me alone against another team…I do this in hopes of getting better

AMEN! I can relate to this. My moronic teamates always quit out on me.

There’s at least one who leaves within the first two minutes in every warzone game I play. By the time the game is finished, there’s normally 3-5 people who have left.
