Fair warning, English is not my first language and my grammar isn’t the best. With that being said here is what I am feeling about halo so far. Back story, I have played every single halo game campaign co op and solo legendary and played every halo multiplayer at lease two years or more.
After watching the halo demo and learning what I’m we know about this demo, I will not be buying this game. This demo is weeks old and we know that there will be infested with micro transactions. Graphic is very sub-par. They have been working on this game for 5 years and the engine probably 6 ish years. Meanwhile games like gears 5, last of us, ghost of tsushima, heck even destiny has better graphic. -Yoink- even halo 4-5 looks better than this game. The power of this console is on par with a 2080 super so we know that 60 FPS should not be an excuse to have the quality of graphic that this game displayed. The lighting in this game is terrible shadow and RTS isn’t even in the game. So far gameplays looks meh and graphic is unimpressed.
They promise every halo game will have a demo or beta, now they are saying they may not be able to do that due to COVID. This is just lazy. if COVID really is a problem then put more people on it or take your time and delay the game to get what needed to be done. This all points to the game being rush to meet launch of series x. They should ship a beta with every new console and delayed the game for 4-6 months.
Since the game is being rush this tells me that story is going to suffer. I have destiny 1 vibe in terms of content. I’m sorry but I am not going to wait months for an unfinished game to be played. Just delayed it and finish it right ! This game feel like a barebones story with fillers. Unless we see a lot more with a lot of changes this game is not a buy for me. If I happen to have game pass when this game comes out I’ll play it if not then it is a hard pass. 343 you have failed me and halo.

Your English is fine, and I agree with everything you said, they had years to work on the game, COVID setting them back should not have hurt the development significantly if they really utilized that half a billion they were given
I’m more hypped by halo infinite than halo 5. Sure graphics in the demo aren’t that great but they can be arranged and it’s not the selling point for me (I like to play H2 on classics graphics). An advice I can give you is like preorder for overhypped games. See if the game at realease is good or not and the buy it (or not).

Other developers have managed to successfully work through COVID. Agreed.

After learning multiplayer is free. I don’t see how this game can afford to charge people 60 bucks. Plus there’s gonna be battle pass and micro transactions.

It’s a damn shame I called this delayed. What I am afraid of now is how long the delayed is going to be. Look like they need more than a few mo this. Keep in mind the game took 5 years to get to this point so a few months is not enough. They need to remove this game from Xbox one and delay it to fall of next year and make it next gen only. If this game is suppose to survive the next 10 years then the Xbox one x is going to be way outdated in a year or two and hold this game back.
