Just to clarify, I’m running on an Xbox 1s. Starting off with the weapons, the AR its overtuned. Literally best gun in the game followed up by the BR and rocket launcher. Cant tell you how many times I get punished for picking up another gun and trying to use it, just to get melted by the AR. It just shreds like the saw from halo 4. The Commando is cool but for some reason is just god awful to hipfire with. Every other gun feels alright from the hip but when I try with that thing its like my sensitivity is tripled. Not 100% sure if the plasma pistol can stun vehicles. I’ve tried twice and nothing happens. If it can’t fix it cause thats half of the utility of the weapon. The ravanger is a little awkward but not that bad. Sniper on console feels very bad. Yet again from the hip it feels like my sensitivity is tripled and the first magnification is a little to zoomed in. Gravity Hammer is awesome but the kill range is a little much I feel. Full health and I’m killed 8 feet away by it sometimes. Plasma grenades killing everyone in a warthog is dumb. It should mess the vehicle up for sure and maybe kill a player or two given its a good throw but I had one stuck to my tire and all 3 of us died. Equipment is pretty good overall. Vehicles are fun and don’t seem to be to powerful. I think the spawning system for them is alright.
The BTB map is pretty good overall. I can see how people might think its to restrictive for vehicles. Connection wise its been running pretty good, some crashes but not bad overall. Footsteps on the other hand are pretty much silenced. Dont get me wrong I hate overly loud footsteps and people who abuse them but I just never hear them. People will sprint right up behind me on metal and I just don’t know till its too late. Finally I dont know if I’ve just been having bad luck or what but I’m getting some Cold war sbmm vibes. I’ll get lobbies back to back with not so good teammates and mlg pro enemies. Then ill have a good game or two then right back into the blender. I can hold my own in most shooters but it feels like the team balance is a little whack sometimes. I have to say though despite some of its flaws I am really enjoying this games multiplayer and I hope they keep improving upon it.
