So the last many of games it seems like I have been getting teamed up with n00bs left and right on the Castle DLC playlist. Honestly this is really cussing annoying, I’ve been the best player on my team literally the past 5 matches. Go see it for yourself on my stats!
I also am getting put into the middle of the games, ON THE LOSING TEAM! Sorry, but the more I’ve played Halo 4 recently the more I’m disliking it. What did 343i do to Halo? I mean really! I think I’m starting to realize that I’m more of a Bungie fan than a Halo fan. I mean Destiny looks so much cussing better than Halo it’s sad. Sorry, but I just miss the old Halos, I just guess I miss Bungie. Does anyone else agree?
I just read what 343i said at GDC, and it is a big joke. I don’t know what 343i is trying to do, but it’s not working for me. Then I read what Bungie said at GDC. Cussing amazing! I don’t think that 343i can recreate what Bungie made. I’m not trying to bash Halo or 343i, I mean I like Halo 4 and all. But just something about it… Isn’t that great. I mean from multiplayer to the music to the campaign, it’s just not the Halo I know and love.
I’m not trying to bash 343i or Halo 4 at all, I’m just trying to share the way that I’ve been feeling about the whole thing.
Please let me know if you agree, or not.
Thanks
Welcome to the club.
I could stand the first 3 months of this game, after that I could not do it anymore. Matchmaking updates did little at all, playlists with serious issues that impair gameplay aren’t fixed, custom games options are gone, lackluster campaign, poorly handled matchmaking, SpOps was dull and repetitive(Did little other than extend the story), horrible teammates, and the list goes on.
Once the hype wore off and 343 started doing less and admitting that they wanted Halo 4 to be this way, I abandoned ship. I’m not happy about it, but Halo 3 is where I’m at not. At least that game plays in a way that rewards teamwork and skill.
The quality of the Castle map pack, along with CSR, has me actually feeling like playing again.
We will see how long it lasts.

I feel the exact same way. Halo 3 is still better than the newest game, which is not usual. I don’t know, I haven’t played it that much in the past couple months and I’m realizing why. And yeah I don’t get the whole thing with SpOps either, way too repetitive. It just doesn’t have any thing interesting about it anymore. The only thing I actually kind of like is the campaign. But even that seems poorly executed. It’s too bad, I mean it seems like if 343i REALLY listened to the fans it could be SO much better. Maybe Halo 5, or heck even Halo 6 will fare better. I guess we’ll see how it competes with Destiny
