I have to say, I am completely blown away by the graphics. I was watching the briefing with some friends in an Xbox LIVE party, and the moment I saw those ruins in the sand I said, “Is that Sanghelios?” I wasn’t sure if it was Halo until I saw the marines. Then when Chief’s helmet appeared, I lost it.
The fact that a Halo game can feature so much detail is absolutely amazing to me. I am so excited to see how this game looks when it launches. I know they haven’t really said anything about this game, but their acknowledgement of fans’ responses to their previous games makes me think that this will be a pretty big Halo game. They have already confirmed that splitscreen will be a part of every Halo game moving forward, and in their last post regarding Halo Infinite, they confirmed a flighting process for the game that’s similar to that of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Overall, I’m really looking forward to seeing more of this game, and I’m happy that 343i has taken steps to address issues that the fans have had with their previous games.
