Well as the title would suggest this is what I think of the beta so far, some of you will agree some of you wont either way is fine. First off let me say I really am enjoying the beta and can’t wait to see new content added over the weeks. That said I do think some things need some tweaking.Here are a few of those things:
- I think we should be able to hear the call outs our spartans give, for whatever reason a lot of games don’t have this whenever they use a system like this and it always felt odd to me.- I like the idea of the smart link but I think it needs to be changed a bit, right now I think it it will make some guns like the assault rifle too accurate at long range. It would appear that when you are using the smart link a gun loses any spread it would have from continuous fire which is what makes it extremely accurate and I think if this feature were to be added like how it is to the normal fire on the smart link as well it would be a great improvement and help balance the game since right now you can just smart link your AR and just kill someone far away.- I don’t really understand the spartan charge. It seems like a normal melee attack would be more useful instead of using it while sprinting. I think it either needs to kill if you direct impact someone or you need to have the option of using it, maybe hold the melee button for a spartan charge while sprinting and tap it for a normal melee while sprinting. Right now it just doesn’t seem very good and sometimes gets me killed.Anyway that’s all I could really think of at the moment if I think of anymore stuff I’ll just add it in the comments.
