I played 10 placement matches yesterday for BTB. This was my first time playing BTB in about two years. I was excited to try out the new big team but, In general I would say I didn’t enjoy my experience. I played in a party of two (sometimes 3) and I consider myself a highly-experienced player.
- The vehicles are way too powerful. A warthog or a ghost will tear you to shreds much faster than they would in any other halo. There should be more plasma pistols on the map to give players a fighting chance a taking vehicles out.
It seems like it’s now difficult to shoot the gunner as well given the stature and size of the chain gun.
Don’t even get me started on tanks. The Halo 5 Scorpion tank is the single most unstoppable vehicle in Halo history. If you ever run into one of these then good luck. My whole team could not figure out how to kill one of these things for a number of games

The teams were generally very unbalanced. There’s no indicator whether you’re playing against a full party of veterans. Halo 5 BTB should implement stricter party matching restrictions.

I was getting spawn killed (sometimes quite comically) by people far away behind cover and in general the game seems apt to spawn you with an enemy lurking to shoot you in the side or the back (probably in a vehicle).
If 343 could address any of these points I would appreciate it.
