My thoughts on halo 4 now.

I loved playing halo 4 from the beginning, but now I don’t play it that much anymore. When I try to remember how the game was, back then I honestly think that the things that 343i did weren’t a good idea. Of all thing things they did, their worst choice was ordnance drops. Ordnance drops add too much luck into games like slayer, or any playlist that has it unless it was in action sack. I think it doesn’t belong in a gametype like slayer, ctf, or etc.

For CTF, I think that 343i removed our ability to drop the flag so that we can’t flag juggle, but since carrying the flag doesn’t affect our speed anymore, people will probably only drop the flag to defend themselves or pass it to another teammate. Also, I don’t like the fact that when you pick up the flag, there is a waypoint over your head. The tldr will be used to troll anyone who doesn’t bother reading this play along if you want. I think that the flagnum should be removed, and that the waypoint should go away. If the flag carrier’s team is just useless randoms, then the carrier should atleast have a chance at sneaking the enemy flag back to his/her base.

There is also the progressive system. It’s too easy to rank up in halo 4. I think we should gain exp for how well we did, and if we did bad then we also lose exp. We should also have to play a certain number of games before the progression system is activated. For objective games where -Yoink-'s think it’s ok to just stat boost and not bother going for the objective, K/D shouldn’t even be counted. There should be a K/D ratio for only slayer gametypes, and a Win/Lose ratio for objective playlists.

Lastly, I think the game should be an Arena shooter again. Making it a class based shooter was a bad idea. Too much was changed. Things like AA’s should’ve been equipment that you could only use once and could only be found on the map. I honestly think that it’s too late to start getting people back, but atleast 343i is trying to make up for it.

TL:DR : Halo 4 is a disgrace to the halo franchise, and 343i should’ve been fired the moment the population started droping when the game came out. They are nothing, and only no lives and homos play halo now.
