Hello boys and girls.
I’d like to share my opinion and hear yours as well regarding Spops episode 7.
I’d like to start of by saying, WHAT AN AMAZING JOB!!
I at first feared they’d just re-use previous levels prior to the release of Halo 4.
Turns out they did re-use several levels, now this came as a dissapointment to me but i knew that others felt the same as me. So it was only a matter of time before it was posted on these lovely mature forums. (Lol)
And 343i actually picked up and made NEW exciting levels! Episode 6 came as a MONSTER to me but Episode 7 won my heart!
The CGI cutscene was amazing! I had that ‘‘special’’ moment when Roland mentioned Chief was still alive and Halsey reacted so heavily to it! WHAT A BLAST!!
I was a little shot off with Palmer’s dual wielded Halo: CE pistols… One-shotting the Prometheans, alright i get that we can’t have her bouncing around with a charged plasma pistol and throwing nades like there is no tommorow, but add a bit more detail in the future 343i. It’s all i could ask for
The first mission blew me away, how everything looked, the combat, the athmosphere. STUNNING! I loved every adrenaline pumping moment of Mission one!
As i progressed into the new wonderfull episode, i kept getting surprises! We get to fight, ON the Infinity! I was totally in my Halo-gasm moment there! What a dam fine job!
Episode 7 tied in well with Episode 6’s ‘‘Stolen nukes scheme’’
They put hell of alot more effort into these new episodes!
I find them replayable too much! I can’t stop haha!
343i keep up the good work! I realize you’ve been BASHED alot lately, but don’t let that get to your awesome team! With communication and more effort, Halo 4 will see itself outdo any other Halo out there!
I’m already looking forward to the next monday! (NOTE: Everyone hates mondays…)
What did you think of Episode 7?
Good? Bad?
I want to know!
I freaking loved it!
My faith in spartan ops has been restored.

It’s good to see the new episodes are bringing people back!
I loved it, but the first mission was kinda confussing for me…
Mediocre
The cutscene started off exceptionally well, if not still making Halsey seem unreasonable and crazy…a trend I was hoping would stay in the Kilo-Five novels. The first mission was interesting with a mission in progress in a new area being broken up. After that though, the missions on the Infinity bogged the experience down. Going into the server room and hanger numerous times was just a bore. Why not have Crimson go to multiple decks instead of a relative circle between the hanger, engine room and server room?
I saw a suggestion for having them go through the War Games simulation area with glitching environments popping up. Would’ve been sweet.
It wasn’t a terrible Episode though and both 6 and 7 reflect a positive trend for Spartan Ops…but a bit less backtracking would be nice.
Sick cinematic and chapters. Well done!
Though at times I felt the Infinity missions were a tad repetitive, it was still a lot of fun to have new environments to work in. Overall, I really enjoyed this episode and am very excited for the next!

At least the backtracking was done RIGHT and it wasn’t the same encounters. All the backtracking moments were hardly noticeable because there were different enemies/different guns every time it came up, unlike Halo CE.
I am really liking it so far. The cutscene was great IMO, even though I find it unrealistic that Palmer could kill a Knigh with 1 Magnum shot.
Lasky also kicked -Yoink-, which is neat. I haven’t played the missions yet, but the video was crazy. It is getting better and better.
