I have something to say.
I can’t wait until this “GDC” phase goes away.
OH MY GOD, people are acting like their houses and car just has been evicted.
Just give it a couple of days, maybe 2 weeks or so. Just give it a few, I can promise that these people about to cry will go away, and the people who are just pulling all this hate out of their bums are going to go back to their halo loving sides. This crowd is extremely hipocritcal and melodramatic.
This game is really fun, I don’t know what all your problems are. It doesn’t matter if this game is catering to casual players, this game is even that competitive to begin with, as a matter of fact halo was never like this. It was always for fun and with a side of competitiveness.
What’s wrong with getting along with new people? Why does this community have to be so freaking hostile towards other people trying to enjoy halo? Why can’t people adapt? Why does it have to be a halo 3 remake? This is halo 4, not 3.
I have one question: why do yous keep playing this game? WHY. If it hurts so bad, and you’re THIS irritated and literally near despise it, WHY do you keep,playing this game and try to bring everyone down with you? This is one of the biggest questions I have for this community.
I know alot of you’s hate this line, but honestly it’s the truth. IF halo 3 and halo 2 are what’s up, then go play it. I don’t know why people keep saying that. Honestly if its so good, just go play it. The truth is, this game will never go in your favor again, it might, but it’s ALL up to 343. I don’t know why people keep thinking this game will turn in favor of those constantly complaining and hating on it, saying its not a true halo game.
I also have something else to say, and I’m not trying to be sickening, I’m just being honest.
Please, if you don’t like halo 4, please I’m begging yous… Leave. These forums are for people who want to talk about halo 4. I really want to talk halo 4 with people, but I can’t because EVERYTIME i do I get ripped on for my positives opinions on halo 4.
For all the halo lovers, please, dont let anybody bring your day down. Don’t let anybody tell you that this game is lame, or not a real halo game. It is, and it will always be Halo. Please keep enjoying this game like me, I don’t let anybody bring down my halo spirit.

We were promised Halo would go back to its roots. Never happened
We were told that they listen to us. They get the gist of what we say but then dumb it down.
After watching the GDC video, 343 made it clear that they blame the community for the blunder that is Halo 4.
They claimed that we all asked for a progression system. (Some yes, but all? I can’t even make a joke of that)
I used to be a defender of 343 and Halo 4 but after each and every update (micro,title,hidden,etc), 343 just seems to want to keep the game as is with all the mistakes and only generating new ones, while trying to make people feel “special” about their “skill” in this game.

The people who used to take it easy on 343i (like me) have been offended by 343i’s complete lack of respect for the Halo community and are now joining the ranks of the forum users who have been criticizing Halo 4 for the past several months. And as for those forum users who were angry to begin with…yeah they’re as mad as hell.

This game is not “really fun” as clearly indentify-able from the population which decreases by the month, this game is not Halo, it does not contain one element that made halo 2-3 so successful. This game is the biggest let down to all major halo fans who followed this series since the beginning like myself, 343 has destroyed a legacy

Don’t. I skimmed thru it. It’s bad enough that they only had Josh (No offense to him) covering their butts at GDC. There are threads that will sum it up for you. They basically state how they felt the need to make the Game playable for all types of gamers. They wanted the game to be accessible for any and all types of gamers. How? By lessening the “Learning Curve” and making it Approachable and Easy for Non-Halo Players.

I love Halo OP but for what it was not what it is now. This all came to pass after Reach. 343 basically turned their back on the fan’s and waved the blame in their face. Now the bigger question is how are they going to sell Halo 5 now that most of their fan base is up and ready to quit on them?
There’s a fine line between being a fan of something and being it’s creator. 343 are clearly fan’s of Halo but are not it’s creators in which we needed them to be. This is shown as their first Halo entry being 343’s complete Fan made game.

I can say its lightening up now, those threads are being locked as said by snicker doodle. Check that big thread that everyone goes to rip on 343 and halo. It went downhill, and got locked. And IM happy. In your face!
It just proves that this community can’t grow up and mature about something. All the majority of this forum community can do is straight rip on halo and 343 day in and day out.

I’m good with the contructive conversation but where are we supposed to feel like we are being heard?, I know a lot of people start throwing names around then a good convo ends up going downhill but I’m sure me, many others just want some sort of sense that 343i are actually taking on board what most people are saying. (I know there may be a lot of rants, endless arguements but I just feel like the constructive critism gets lost in the flame war, it feels like as long as there flame wars then BS_Angel/Frank won’t respond and I know I wouldn’t myself if it got out of hand since I know from personal experience that designing games is hard work)

All I can say on that is it’s heart breaking mainly because the forums did quite well for a while but there’s always going to be people that try directly insulting people over what happened, I don’t blame the community but certain parts of the community since not everyone was to blame, everyone’s reacts to the offensive disability joke in their own ways.
