…and I’ve thought this for a while.
As someone who likes the classic balanced version of Halo, ala Halo 3 where everyone spawned equal, it amazes me that AAs have not yet been used in a similar way to equipment. Why not have them and weapons placed on the map so that everyone starts equal again. get rid of the perks and such too. I’m not suggesting all playlists be like this but it would be nice to have one where you start with a BR and a Pistol and that’s it, similar to Classic Halo.
You see that was one of the things that really turned me off CoD, I just felt bad for the people who didn’t play often or were new. I had a friend who came round regularly, I would sit on my PC and he would play CoD. After a few months he had got me to 2nd prestige with most of the weapons unlocked and it just seemed unfair that I could go around with a Javelin while some -Fine Gentleman- had only the starting weapons, but I ended up spending most of my time playing with the n00b tub3 anyway 
I get it, Halo has to be similar to CoD to pull in an audience these days but is it too much to ask to pander to the Halo Vet? I wouldn’t even mind if it had Sprint! I just want everyone to start of equal and not get bonuses for getting kills or whatnot.
I understand not everyone will agree and I’m not going to flame you if you disagree but let’s keep it civil eh?
