My thought's of the beta so far.

I have to say it is definitely a step up from Halo 4,however it still needs some work if it is to bring back the skill factor. I am going to post some possible changes that I feel could help Halo 5.

Changes & Improvements:

.Lessen the vibrations you experience while being shot. It punishes hip fire in its current state and can cause you to miss fire, even with automatics.

.Reduce the amount of bullet-spread the SMG currently has. It feels like the bullets spray to far out of the outer rim of the reticle,and can cause you to miss-fire unless zoomed in or you are in close range of another player.

.Dim the light emitted from the Prophet’s Bane. It can become blinding when its light is coupled with the lighting of the map. Also in most occasions I had to keep swapping back and forth between weapons, which caused me to die many times.

.Dim the lighting on the map “Truth”,its just too bright.

.Buff the damage the shields can take. As it stands now, you die way to fast.

. Make Smart Scope changeable, allowing players to customize whether they want Smart Scope or the traditional zoom.

Thats all that really comes to mind right now. Feel free to mention any changes you want to see.

I changed controller to recon and the scope behaves the old way with the thumstick.

> Agreed. I like the whole ‘tame the recoil’ on automatics, but that weapon is a bullet hose strapped to a bucking bronco. Powerful, but nearly impossible the use because it seems like the reticle is off.

> I thought I read somewhere that the excessive light was intentional, so as to add a negative effect when wielding such a powerful weapon. Alas, I too think it’s a bit too much. Perhaps dim the thing and I dunno, take away radar with it equipped?

> Half the time that happens, but the other half it’s like ‘I shouldn’t be alive right now’. I find kill times to be pretty unpredictable, on me and my enemies.

> I honestly think that Smart Scope is traditional zoom, just in another skin. On automatics and other weapons that never had a zoom-able scope, it adds an extra layer of stability, since it’s now harder (at least I think) to hip fire the AR and others.

Alright, my answers are of course in bold up there. As of now, I absolutely love the Beta. It’s such a blast, and I’m having a blast mastering the new thruster abilities such as charge and ground pound. But thing that comes to mind right away are the grenades.

Even though you can only carry two at a time, everybody (myself included) spams them like hot potatoes, and I find myself blowing up out of nowhere being like ‘Wait, da -Yoink- just happened?!’ I’d say they need a nerf.
