Well as we know there is a composer in Halo 4,the composer is a machine that turned humans and forerunners into AIs,but at the same time in cryptum the didact put the last of his childrens memories into his war sphinx’s.My theory is that why the prometheans are hostile in Halo 4 is that prometheans right after the human forerunner war were brought to requium and their final memories were put into the Promethean AIs,which would explain why they are hostile and makes a lot of sense to me considering the planets name requium means to worship the dead.So I think the dead prometheans were brought to requium a long with the didact so he can rest with his warriors.

The Precursers are still my top theory for Ancient Evil. Only time will tell if this theory proves true, I guess.
