My theory on the Halo 4 true enemy

What we know so far:
That big sphere is a cryptum(coughdidact)
The Halo 4 story is also heavily based from the books.
Precursors have the power to mind control and create species

Ok,think about this,in the trailer there looks to be 2 factions of Prometheans Orange/red and blue(Lol). If the story heavily involves the books,i’m pretty sure they wouldn’t put such an importance on the precursors for no reason and leave them out of the game.So i think what happend was a Precursor was either already in requium or found its way inside the planet or was already inside captive. But brought the didact back to life and is mind controlling him and is also why some of the prometheans are orange. He also takes over cortana later in the game. They are proboably waiting to do a big CE reveal like with the flood.Or it could be a legendary ending and if that does happen,i hope it reveals that there are multipile precursors still living

Only bumping this cause this is a pretty cool idea.

you dont seem to understand. there were few precursors who believed in the use of their power after they created the forerunners and humans the others lived peacefully, exploring the galaxy and beyond. during the forerunner and precursor war many had fled beyond the reach of the forerunners avoiding violence. while the few who believed in the use of their power fought but lost entirely. it was here that the timeless one the last of his kind was captured. the precursors who lived only lived in peace except for him he was the last of his kind. the kind who had transfused them self with their creation the flood. but the timeless one was eventually killed by the didact with a reverse timelock. so you see the precursors have nothing to do with this it is purely the didact gone corrupt

By the last of his kind,he could of litteraly meant the last precursor. He’s a villan, villans ussually lie don’t they?,there still could possibly be more precursors evil precursors outside of our galaxy. And they still wouldn’t have put such an importance on them in the story if they didn’t mean to bring out one as an enemy in game.
