It’s 27/10/15, it’s finally here, the game you have been waiting for month. You have participated in the forums, spread the word and you have hunted the truth. You get home open the box and put the shiny new disk on your xbox one.
343 and microsoft logos appear and then you see a message pop up. “Thank you for buying halo 5: guardians. Due to unexpected problems you may find some minor bugs in the game, this will be patched soon. Enjoy your new journey 343”. The game then loads to the menu. You select campaign. The intro cinematic shows infinity flying through space, but weirdly is flying backwards. There are not stars in the sky, just infinity flying backwards in some random black background. A familiar voice starts to narrate “i am your shield i am your s-s- swwwwwwwoooooooorrrd-d-d-d-d-d” suddenly the cutscenes finishes and you appear in the middle of a gigantic jungle with no textures whatsoever, everything is white, the rocks are just triangles and all the trees are 2D.
You have no time to apreciate the terrible sight as you suddenly fall off the map through the ground. A new cutcsene starts wich shows cortanas face saying “i am you shieeeellllddd-d-d-d.” The face of cortana suddendly morphs into the face of the prophet of truth in halo 3 model. “And now you and me chief with the power of my genetically modified nuclear brutes shall dominate the universe!!” He then fires a lazer to agent lock who is for some reason standing there. As the laser hits him his helmet falls revealing he was Palmer all along. There is no death animation, Palmer just freezes mid animation. An achievement pops up “Finished halo 5: guardians on legendary” suddenly your xbox catches fire. Your last view of the game is the ending cutscene of chief taking his helmet off revealing the face of spartan lock while the infinity crash lands on the background. “To be continued in halo 6:revelations, 343”
