My take on halo 4

I’m blown away. When I first heard that there would be a halo 4, I was skeptical. I thought that without bungie, 343 would just make yet another CoD clone and get every last drop of money they could out of the halo franchise. I was wrong. The campaign is amazing, the multiplayer feels fantastic and even the weapon sounds are incredible. And the idea of free weekly content in spartan ops is awesome, I feel like more games should try this as it does help keep people interested. I have played halo’s 1 2 3 ODST (if you can even call that a halo game and not just an over-priced expansion pack) and reach, and for me this is on par if not better than my personal favorite, Halo 2. I do have a few gripes though, I do like the loadout system, You can customize your spartan nicely, but I don’t necessarily like the tread mill you have to run to get all the equipment. I mean it’s not that big a deal to a fanatic like me, I’ll probably reach 50 in a week but to people who don’t have as much time, some people will have slight advantages over them i.e being able to carry two primary weapons. These are not game-breaking and are well balanced tradeoff’s, but even so it still bugs me a little that people that play more have an advantage over you,(aside from overall skill and map knowledge), even if it is a tiny one. And while I do love the maps, I hope they bring back some classics. Bloodgulch should be in halo 4. Period. It is the most iconic map of the entire halo series and should be remade!!! I hope at least some of the map packs will include more map remakes that Valhalla. Some maps I would like to see remade are, Hang em’ High from halo one, (despite the jetpack being incredibly OP on this map.) Sidewinder (although they may need to remake the bases as it was extremely hard to even touch the flag if the other team played passive.) Headlong from halo 2,and obviously bloodgulch. But to sum it up, this game is amazing and might be the best halo to date.
