After all 3 flights and big team battle I over all enjoyed every thing. Here are my take aways.
Hardware matters. People with an Xbox One and lower end pcs are not going to play much, especially pvp. The game is virtually unplayable because you can’t aim.
The network code seems to have went backwards from halo 5. There are way too many wtf moments. So many times you turn a corner, take 2 steps, there’s zero line of sight, and then you die. I also had many times where I put an entire magazine in to an opponent and still lose the 1v1. One time I had an over shield and me and the other person ran straight at each other, neither missing, and some how I lost. There’s just too many stories like this. And yes, I play on very good connections and have a xbox series x.
THE AR HAS WAY, WAY, WAY TO MUCH RANGE. Btb confirmed this. I would sprint to get a br, start shooting someone 100 to 200 yards away, and immediately be taken out of scope by the AR that hardly misses even at very long range. No ability to use the scope. This makes mid range weapons not very useful. I would say ever say well past 200 yards this happens.
The in game ui is just too busy. Too much info. Too much to try and read.
All of the sarcastic announcer remarks become annoying very quickly.
I overall felt like Infinite was great too. I also feel a lot of the issues you named off could be fixed by launch if we all stick together and put in our tickets and do the survey.

Someone told me that 343 really doesn’t follow our threads. These are mainly for us to talk about things. So make sure to let your opinion known in the pinned threads at the top.

Definitely agree with your first point. Aiming was like pulling teeth and downright made me not want to even play PvP anymore. Even after setting adjustments it was still too “loose” and “jerky”. Meanwhile it seemed other players had poinpoint accuracy. Very frustrating and hope they fix it.
Overall I had a blast playing the flights. Maybe that is just hype because good handful of people on this forum have a lot of take aways. I do believe the AR could have alittle nerf to its range maybe 5%. Nothing to nerf the gun to existents however.

I’m not a software engineer but I bet this has to do with hardware and lack of power. So I doubt it can be fixed. Playing on my Xbox Obe versus my series x was like 2 different games. On top of that I feel like network code has went backwards from halo 5 where I hardly ever had wtf moments. That’s a little concerning to me.

I over all enjoyed it also. I’m not unhappy but the point of this is to try and help make the game better with our opinions, finding glitches, and testing servers. Btb just proves the AR has too much range. No one raced to get to the br. Think about that. No one cares about the br in btb. That’s just crazy. I did and I got almost every time.

Not sure where you guys are getting this info from about the AR lmao…
Go to google and type in “AR 15 effective range”
In the year 2021, our basic AR 15 has a 600 yard range lmao. In the 26th century they better just use peashooters as ARs right LOL

First no fully handheld automatic weapon has any where near that range. I don’t care what confirmation bias site you found. Second even if it did, this is a game and not real life, the point is to balance weapons. When the AR makes a br not worth even trying to get on btb you have a problem. That can’t be denied by anyone with an open mind.
