I was able to play the pvp arena beta every hour it was offered this weekend and can say I’m really excited for this game. Big main complaints I hope that gets worked on before full release though is; 1. aiming-the aiming on this game feels so weird and somehow more clunky then h5 aiming which I thought was horrible. I do not understand why you guys are going so far away from modern aiming because as I can see for the past 6 years and this weekend was how bad the halo aiming is, a more modern aiming like how mcc is would feel a lot more natural and enjoyable for players. 2. Bloom- bloom has no place in halo, makes for very random gun fights which results in the first shot or even first 2 shots mean nothing. Also makes for very weird time to kills. I could 5 shot 1 guy and very next moment 12 shot the next kid but have way better aim but do to bloom not have a clue where my bullets are going. The commando is a great example cause at one moment I’m cross mapping then up close it’s not even giving me hit markers are on guy standing still. 3. Ar needs work- toward the end of the beta the more competitive lobbies were seeing how much stronger the ar was compared to the inconsistency in the pistol. I was getting 1 shot by the AR from tower to tower on behemoth by guys tap firing the AR while the pistol you could scope in mid range, receive no aim assist, and have to hit every shot just to hope to break shields. If we are going to get bloom on some weapons then the Ar should have the most bloom. Makes no sense a possession pistol shots twice then your hoping for rng to connect the rest of the shots while an Ar mid range and kill you and you don’t even have to aim at all. 4. Bxb- honestly I’m all for button combos, but tone this down. Make it either a true bxr or slowed before the second punch but still liable. Just the current state of it makes for kids corner camping waiting to double punch your brains out. 5. Radar- bring back full radar, half the time someone wouldn’t be on this radar and sometimes your stuck being on it even when your crouching trying to get shields back. Was not consistent but as long as it’s out of ranked games I’m ok with it. I know it seems like I didn’t enjoy the game but I really couldn’t stop playing it just fixing these issues in my opinion would make the game so much more balanced and enjoyable! Can’t wait for this coming up with end even though I hate vehicles and I’m more of a ranked guy other then BTB but I’m just ready to play more!
