Tweak: The H3 Magnum has always been dead weight. I suggest decreasing its bullet spread at close to mid range and perhaps adding 2X zoom. And please add a shiny white CE skin.

Add: Plasma Oscillator. Repurpose that unique yellow Plasma Rifle model from Halo Online and make it akin to the stunning CE Plasma Rifle. Not duel wieldable.
posts like these catch my interest even if I disagree, so I’ll try to respond point by point:
there really isn’t a purpose to having weapons like this in Halo 3 since the changes are miniscule at best, and the mechanics that make use of this kind of gameplay are nearly non-existent. it would probably be a much better idea to bring in the Halo Online weapon variants since they generally mix the gameplay up better.
really they should just add the Halo Online DMR and give it the current Automag stats while making the Automag closer to the ODST stats, which is already basically a Halo 2 pistol.
changing legacy weapon behavior like this is a big no-no, especially since the only change in this case would be making it as overpowered as the CE Magnum, when they effectively did that already using the Automag. the Halo 3 Magnum was intended for auto slayer first and foremost, if another CE Magnum is a feature that absolutely must be added, than the Halo Online Magnum Variants would work to that end better for everyone.
honestly that would be neat, all the other ones would be cool to have too.
