Could the recent reveal of the Boxart mean that they are nearly ready to announce the different editions of the game for pre order? as in recent interviews staff often mention how marketing is so important and that the game is almost complete. If they have the boxart ready, it could mean they have the final packages planned, or nearly ready to announce, I hope so because I really want to be able to pre order legendary right now.

They wont let you because Halo 4 costs that $64.93, unless the price of the standard game is increased, Gamestop wont/can’t charge you more than $64.93.
The only way I can see you putting down enough money to cover the price of a Legendary edition, is if you preorder 2 or 3 more copies, and then leave a note for your self to cancel all of the preorders and then create a new preorder for the legendary edition.
Tho you’d have to talk to the Gamestop people to see if that’ll let you. You might even be able to have them give you a call when the other editions are announced.

Limited Editions and Legendary editions ususally take a little time to sell out. As long as you have the money on the regular edition you can go swap to the higher up editions within a few days after they are announced. I’ve done it with all previous Halos. The only way you can really get screwed out of a special edition of Halo is if you wait til the last couple weeks before release. The sooner the better though. Better safe than sorry…

I know, tho I still stated those options in case someone wants to have money to preorder in case things don’t go as planed.
