First off I have been a huge fan since 2001, and will always be. I played Halo 4 since launch, and did not receive my code. My brother who borrowed a copy of the game, and played once, or twice received his code. Which is bittersweet, because he didn’t even purchase the game, barely played, and still got a code. That’s the bitter part. The sweet part is that he gave me the code. It’s a wonderful thing, because I would have never got one otherwise. I spoke with MS support multiple times, and posted on the official tread here on waypoint. Support did offer $9.99, or 800 MS points for my inconvenience. I opted for the $9.99 but that never came as well. So what’s point of this post you may be asking yourself. It doesn’t matter that I have a code now. What matters is that 343i failed to deliver on a promise, and are still are continuing to do so. If I did not have a brother who is also a 360 owner as well, I would have never got a code. It matters that MS constantly gave me (thousands of others) the run around, and blatantly lied. I am not trying to knock 343i, or MS, but these issues need to be, and hopefully are noted by someone so that in the future the same mistakes are not made.
