It feels very intermittent, but my character just won’t sprint sometimes. Feels like a bug.
I have to hit the sprint key more than once every so often.

Turn off toggle sprint and just hold shift whenever you need to sprint.

No, it should work, it’s a bug. Toggle sprint is one of the best things to happen to FPS games.

Happens all the time. Just doesn’t sprint sometimes.
I’m having this issue also hence why I’m here. Been struggling to hit curb slides consistently then figured out it’s because my spartan doesn’t always run when I push forward and sprint. Doesn’t matter if I have hold to sprint checked or maintain sprint checked or if the controller is plugged in vs over BT. Super frustrating. I do have sprint mapped to a paddle because my thumb was starting to hurt mashing in the joystick so much when it doesn’t sprint. Now I just keep hitting the paddle till it kicks in. But super frustrating for in game play. Gt Remy l3b3au

Same issue for me. Intermittent issue, I notice my Spartan even walks slower when I’m unable to sprint, almost as if I’m stuck in the ground. Once he picks up a normal walking speed I noticed that’s when I will be able to sprint. I noticed crouching multiple times before I need to take off helps. It’s not my controller, turning on hold to sprint does not help. It is severely frustrating the amount of times I die from this bug and talking to the community it is not a rare occurrence.

My guy has trouble crouching sometimes at random. Mainly in matches with high ping. It’s weird and makes no sense.
Maybe time for a new keyboard or controller?

That feel when you don’t know a bug exists, because you never use the feature that causes it.

you should be rarely sprinting in games so you don’t shoot late, the walking speed is almost the same as sprinting
Yes, there are two reasons it happens. (1) By pressing up slightly after pressing sprint. You have to be holding up before you press sprint. I feel like the game could be more lenient on the input timings but whatever. And (2) by holding too far on an angle. Sprint will only activate when hold up or either of the up/left or up/right angles. If you hold the angle too far right or left, it won’t activate.
So, essentially, be more precise and also deliberately press up before sprint. It’s a millisecond but it makes the difference.
Finally, if you get into advanced tech, walking toward a ledge and sprinting at the moment before you drop is one of those techs. Nothing wrong with getting used to walking a step before sprinting anyways.
I had the same issue and it turned out to be the controller I was using. New controller and I haven’t had the issue since.
Hey has anyone still big issue with kk sprint ! It just happens to me today and It’s the first time back on since mid August
I just left … couldn’t keep taking the issue with the game and I was winning an losing so I’m not crying ahaha just wish the gameplay was handled correctly and with more due diligence
