Besides all the drama of the game looking terrible or being a game we can’t judge yet, I think its just best we start with looking at the game’s small, non-obvious features that were carried over from Guardians or returning from the trilogy. I will be using this video to talk about my analysis.
-
At 0:50, This has got the be the first allied character that was pissed off and directly took it on Chief. He did probably go through hell is survived alone on a pelican, so its understandable why he wants to go back to his family.
-
Another thing I realized is that the overhead of Chief’s helmet isn’t visible anymore! It reminds me of Halo 3’s visor.
-
When Chief starts driving the warthog, that’s the field recording from the beginning of this video! Or I could be wrong…
-
4:04, you can see Chief shooting the hinds of the brutes, causing it to stumble and fall. Now I only think this may affect the brutes only. Halo 2’s Brutes were a kind of bullet sponges with hard headshots. Halo 3 brutes were kind of weak even on legendary. Halo 3 ODST had the shield but it made them no less than an elite. Reach’s were pretty awkward to fight imo. Here, it seems fighting brutes slowly reduces armor from where you are shooting directly. New style, and it could work than just abruptly destroying every armor piece…

4:33, no button animations. Well there was a small pinch but im sure it was nothing

-
5:41, it seems the grapple hook can be hooked onto anything, not indicator where it may be hooked, as long as it can reach?
-
7:17, lastly, look at the dots. I know people already speculated this but I guess its confirmed. Those are the small bits of the Infinite floating about. Which im not really caring. We frankly saw the -Yoink- do nothing for two games but be a home base.
