My review of the game (spoilers)

Let me start off by saying this story is NOT at all like advertised. Yes you are technically hunting chief to find out what he doing, but its not anything like a conflict we were promised in the advertisments.

The second questionable thing that is wrong with this story is the osiris/blue team split. From the beginning we have been told locke acts as this lense to see master chief through becuase of cheifs one dimensional personality, but the amount of focus on locke himslef and not fleshing him out in the 80% time you play as him is a big let down. Not to mention that you only play as blue team about 20% of the time. Which to me raises the question of what could’ve been.

Using cortana as the main enemey is confusing, but interesting. It just feels so out of place and is a slap in the face to the ending of halo 4

This game does offer some memorable moments like the chief locke fight, cortana trapping blue team in the cryptum, the final battle on the elite homeworld, and I actaully really enjoyed the last mission despite the cliffhanger at the end

Closing story thoughts:
It’s in my opinion a good story that feels its a bit rushed and with questionable relevance of fireteam Osiris. Lack of blue team is a MAJOR let down, feel like this game could offer a lot more story wise if it was just them in the game. The story for all of its confusion and questionable character use, is pretty good in my opinion still not sure how I feel about cortana as the main enemey though, will have to see.

Multiplayer is really really good, reminds me of halo three days, glad they took the feedback presenetd to them and made changes, warzone is also an absolute blast.

If I had to rate it:
7.8 out of 10 just because I was so looking forward to playing as blue team and to continue the story of chiefs character developmrnt, which I had been looking forward to since halo 4. The rest of the game like multiplayer is amazing
