Exclusives.
I have become invested in franchises like Halo and GoW and it would be rubbish to miss out on them. Also if anyone here has played mass effect, you’ll probably need your old save to be on at least the same brand of console for it to carry over.
Even if the PS4 is a better console, what would be the point in owning it if I can’t play my favourite series.
Basically, by Microsoft’s aggressive exclusives policy they have ensured I will buy their next xbox. Their scheme has succeeded!
I’ll wait on Halo for an Xbox One. There is no other reason for me to buy one when every other game is going to be on PC, too.
Although I have my eye on Project Spark, too.
I’ll get one when the next Halo comes out, I’m going to pick up a Wii U

My opinion exactly. I’d rather play most games on my PC anyways. If it wasn’t for Halo, I wouldn’t even have an Xbox. But Project Spark looks awesome, a watered-down RPG Maker with stunning visuals, and a (hopefully!) huge online database of creations to try out? Count me in.
I have to agree with the original poster on most points , I however will be telling MS just what I think of their rather harsh policies by voting with my wallet. I think all they are doing will eventually push the gaming business to new heights. I just can’t abide by an always online/connect every 24 hrs , or your console bricks business plan. It is MY console after all (it better be for 500$).
If they back off some of these policies I will buy an xbox one happily. It is more than worth the price for the value that comes in it.
