So today I decided to qualify for Swat ranking , the winter season. I had 10 games to go and as I began playing I noticed my allies and enemies went from Gold leaves to Platinum to Diamond as I got better. I lost quite often because of my idiot allies, but I averaged 19 kills per match, going positive every match. But then after my diamond match, I began playing with high gold and low platinum players. So why in the world did I, even though I played with diamond players and ranked #1 in all but 1/10 matches, get put in platinum 4???
Did you win vs the high tier ranks? If not that’s why you got ranked lower, its W/L decided.
Yes I did. I just ranked in slayer as platinum 6, despite winning almost every game against diamond an ONYX players with my very high kill count.
This could also be due to your past ranks in Swat. If you’ve ranked low before, there’s more of a chance you’ll be ranked somewhere around your previous ranks again.
But with slayer my last ranking was Onyx 15## but this time, despite doing better, I’ve been placed in Platinum 6.
