If you placed in the top three your CSR goes up, however anything outside of that in FFA will lower your CSR.
i just got to platinum 3 and i stopped playing SWAT just so i dont get bumped back down… i at the very least want to get to diamond…
dont really wanna burst your bubble, but platinum is not that difficult. It seems like average players would play in platinum but I’ve never seen a silver or bronze player. So I kinda think it’s not even for the average and that average players actually belong in diamond/onyx.

Thats not correct actually. I’ve gotten 6-7th in FFA and still went up. But I’m onyx. Idk if that makes a difference
I have been placed Gold and I can’t win anymore. I would love to get an option to be ranked down so I can play with palkyers at my own skill level.

You are placed with players in your skill level. They are simply outclassing you. One earlier headshot is the difference between Gold and Onyx.
I got placed in Diamond despite losing 7 out of 10 matches. Needless to say I won’t be playing slayer anytime soon.

Yeah that is weird, I mean unless your K/D spread in that game was way over positive or you somehow got fifth or sixth with like 22 kills and a bunch of people tied with 23 and 24 kills? Weird.
The game doesn’t match you based on division. You have a hidden MMR value which is used to pair you with other players.

I like the game but the ranking system seems wonky at launch. I’m not very good. Really close to diamond one on slayer. The main issue I see in games is the delimma of who gets stuck with the player on promo matches. There is always that player who has played 3 promos and is somehow already diamond/plat. If they on your team you screwed. The math is to liberal for csr and might need to be tweaked.

I won 7 of my placement matches, most matches first place or top three with KDA of 8.8 at the end of the 10th match. Got placed in Gold. Yes Gold.
Take note 343, your placement system is absurd and frustrating for people when they get placed above their skill level.
I have a friend that placed Diamond on Swat with -4.0 K/D (NOT KDA) and just 4 wins. needless to say, he’s gonna get destroyed when he plays again. For now he’s bragging about how he “earned” Diamond, but he hasn’t played a match in Diamond yet. And when he finds out he can’t rank down to his actual skill level…lol
Keep trying man, you’ll get better.
i was good at halo 1-4 multiplayer. This new ranking system is terrible. I got to platinum now I lose every single game. Doesn’t matter if I’m the best player or the worst player on my team. I’m so sick of losing and getting my butt kicked. I miss being competing at halo. I guess it’s a good thing battlefronts comes out next week.
I won 8/10 of my placement matches and had usually a 6.0 KD/A in most matches against Diamond players and got put in Platinum…
