My problem with Reach.

I purchased Halo: Reach a few months ago and I’ve come to believe there is a serious problem with quits and disconnects on the play of the game.

Just a few minutes ago I played a game of Squad Slayer where we started a man down. OK, I thought, we can still play and win. As the game took a turn for the worse another person quit, leaving two of us. We weren’t getting destroyed but we weren’t catching up in the kill count (five down) so after a few minutes its just me and four enemies. They started to -Yoink!- me after every kill and I could in no way come back (thanks awesome Halo spawns). I spawned in front of their sniper twice. Yay! Of course I get punished for quitting so I have to play out a game of 4 on 1.

There needs to be some kind of way to even the odds when people inevitably disconnect or at least forgo punishment for quitting a game which is in way fair or fun anymore.

What makes it worse is that there are games (arguably better, lol) where people can join (Call of Duty pulls people in when teams are uneven).

They are bringing a feature to let people join already started in Halo 4.
Not enough man power or will to put the time into Reach.

Just drop the controller or deal with the quit ban. Its about all you can do.

Welcome to Waypoint.

Yeah…that’s Reach for you.

What grinds me gears it that instead of trying to find a real solution to the problem they just completely ignore it and try to fix it in the next game.

Bungie should have been all over that.

My problem with Reach are the players who refused to play it like Reach and instead try to play it like Halo 3, find out they couldn’t, then complain on the forums using words and phrases they heard someone else saying and never backing themselves up.

first look at my file share there is a video with me vs 3 because the rest of the team lag/droped and i won…

2nd you can set your search pref to have it exclude quitters,
just go under the top option after you chose your game mode, its right there and you will no longer have this problem

Good Luck Spartan
