Ok so I live in UK and I pre-orderd a limited edition copy from HMV so that I could get the Locus Helmet. Went in on Tuesday and got my game. I asked them if the pre-order bonus was with it and they told me it was in the package. So fair enough I get home, open it and there is no bonus code in it. Just the other codes for the limited edition.
So I went back today (Wednesday, it was the only time I could get back to the store) and told them my situation. Saddly this didn’t help at all since they told me they only had two codes for 2 pre-orders and that mine should have been packed with my order when it came into the store, they also couldn’t find any extra pre-order bonus codes. So now the HMV store doesn’t have it and I clearly don’t have it.
So what can I do now? Have I lost out on getting my Locus helmet now? Or do I still have a chance to get it somehow?
Can someone please tell me what I can do or where to get help for this?
UPDATE: So a few weeks ago I finally got the helmet by emailing customer support for HMV and gettingthe code that way. Been to busy enjoying Halo 4 to really update this. So the lesson from all of this is to keep harrassing till you get what you want.
I’m in the US but my code wasn’t in the LE itself (obviously they’re not going to just open up your copy and put it in there) it was on a printed piece of paper in the shipping packaging.
Edit: Just read you picked it up - it wouldnt be packaged in thats bullsh*t
Well thats what they said they did. I know, its stupid. The only thing I can think happened is they miss placed it somewhere or someone pintched it.
I’ve also used the other LE codes (couldn’t resist) so I guess there is no returning it.
So do I have to talk to support or something about it or do I have to handle this with the store?

Yea dude i have the same problem…the gamestops here in Baltimore, Maryland said that they “ran out” of codes…I could cae lo
