My predictions about the winter update where correct

Ahh, so the worse your setup the more of an advantage you have?

Game has felt worse for me after the update and I’m on a Series X. I normally get between 12-30 ms games and just about every match they have been glitchy with rubber banding and teleporting around the map when I sprint sometimes. Rockets disappearing or not doing damage, and then I just had the game crash on me mid match. The bad thing is the one game I had at 60 ms was the best feeling one so far.

12-30ms every game is insane. Its like the 5,000 people who still play this game all live in your city lol

Yea, I’m on the east coast with pretty good fiber internet. I just wish all this low ping I normally get would actually translate to smooth playing matches but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case so far. The weird thing is that when I get higher ping games it actually seems to run and play better which is bizarre to me.

Kind of yes. So basically both players send a packet of data to the server. The server processes the data then send it back to both players. If you have ultra fast internet then the player you are fighting will get your information from the server a tad bit faster.

The difference is my upload speed is faster then the enemy. So they are getting the information fast and I’m not. Because with normal internet download is always faster than upload. But fiber is equal speeds.
