My Pre-Order Journey!

So at first I had the Limited Edition fully reserved (at Gamestop) about a month ago…

Then i hear all the news recently about the downfalls and that basically you get most of the perks from LE with SE…

So I downgraded my pre-order to the Standard Edition and also reserved the map pass.

Well THEN I found out today that Gamestop is having a double credit promo for trading in any console.

So I went back in today, canceled my pre-order for the SE again, traded one of my xboxs (4g version, have a 250g slim also) and got $130 credit, and also threw in some old games and controllers, and now have the Halo 4 console fully reserved along with the map pack…

I think I made the right choice…ehh?

eek only $130 credit? My friend you should never trade anything into gamestop, even with some type of “bonus”. I brought in my 250gb console to trade in towards the Halo 4 console and they offered me $109.

So I went on ebay and managed to sell it for $240.37

Then I was able to fully pre-order the Halo 4 console and LE edition :smiley:

Do not trust Gamestop. Ever.

I had to buy 3 different copies of Halo 3, just to buy one that actually worked.

My preorder journey is as follows.

puts down $5 on SE.

LE and Console comes out. returns and puts down $10 so i have $15 on LE instead of SE

Console disk reader breaks.

Goes into gamestop and reserves console insead of LE. haz total of $25 down now.

Get’s new job (upgraded from mcdonalds manager to pubilx deli clerk)
Get’s moar new job (making powerpoints for $40 an hour, office stuff for $10 hr)

Goes into Gamestop today. Gives homie $327 dollars to pay off console. (not sure how that worked out, but that’s what he said i owed)
Gamestop dude gives me free case for my iphone 5. Reminds me about the mappack pass. I buy that too.

Then he show’s me the book they got for halo 4 to show customers, we ooh and ahh.
I contemplate buying the h4 controller,

but don’t.
