My POV

I for one, played invasion everyday, 4 hours day. The same goes for my many freinds who are invasion regulars.

What i liked about the old invasion is that- after playing Spire and Boneyeard so much, you really get to ‘know’ the maps. Spartans will jump off the ledge in boneyard during phase 1, at an attempt to finish off the elites underneath them. Spartans will go up the lift in Spire after the 2nd phase is unlocked, so throwing up stickys after its capped is a smart thing to do.

Now whenever you search for invasion as they added 4-5? new maps, I hardly see boneyard or spire, which is why I think they ruined the playlist. That is what Invasion regulars used to play, and that is what they liked about it, and now its barely there. People that didn’t like invasion or say it was okay -weren’t- invasion fans.

My other point is that Bungie favored creativity. Since all the new maps are made in forge and not all beautifully rendered maps, there really is no special spots. like getting on the mountain on breakpoint during the first phase, or as a spartan- getting on the high left rocks of spire during the first phase, or in boneyard- shooting through the different fences while being immune to the wraith during the 2nd phase.

Since this change, I have stopped playing Invasion. And since that was the only playlist I played, I stopped playing all together.

The new maps are fantastic for me,they’re really awesome.I mean, for Forge Invasion amps in which you can not aestically nor physically change the map, these are pretty great.

Underlined:this is 343 not Bungie, they each have differnent rules to matchmaking maps.
Bold:It seems to me that you hate these maps because they are Forges, and that they could not be beutiful,or have special things like fences, etc.Well,I do not know what else to say to you, other than I used to hate these maps before I learned their strategies…If you could get across the greyness, learing these maps’s strategies could help you like these maps.
